Dude you should run for office!

Patrick, you have a passion and vision that is rarely seen. I usually don't care for politics, and yet when you start talking about your beliefs for today's political system, I can't help but be entranced. I think our government at all levels needs more people like you. People who aren't afraid to stand for their beliefs, and refuse to back down no matter what.

Justin is a progressive movementarian who is also the most natural politician I have ever seen, listening, synthesizing, follow-through. Also, his political instincts are great and if the DCCC or tried to bland down his core beliefs on a campaign, he would fight back harder than nearly any liberal running right now who is being forced to run to the center. And he would win.

You need to run for office.

Works for public advocacy non-profit, and has previously won a seat on West L.A. Neighborhood Council, but hasn't pursued public office since then...

I'm Paul's neighbor, and I've seen how he truly cares when he does outreach to include everyone and their opinions. He's charismatic, experienced in state and local government, and he has major responsibility, being on the community corrections board for Denver. He's a great cook too!

Seneca is an extraordinary community leader. She's a true catalyst for 'real' progressive change. I've seen her work collaboratively in many communities-serving as a true on the ground initiator. As a result, she brought together leaders and has addressed many community issues, including the need to bring the voices of community folks to the political tables; whereby, addressing changes that's not only effective, but also sustainable.

Katie is a smart dynamic woman who needs to be in elective office. She knows the political landscape as she is a precinct committeeperson and serves as chair of her legislative district's Democratic Party organization. In addition, she is a graduate of Emerge and will be a delegate to the Democratic National Convention, As a social worker, she understands the needs of the most vulnerable members of our society. As a mother of young children, she knows first hand the importance of education, quality health care and safety.

Hussein is the founder and executive director of the African Development Center, an entrepreneurial nonprofit working within the African communities in Minnesota to start and sustain businesses, build assets, and promote community reinvestment. He proved his organizing skills by getting elected a delegate to the Democratic National Convention this year in Denver. He is a leader in his community, a hard worker and someone to watch rise in Minnesota politics.

Lisa has been active in politics and her community and she's ready to take it to the next level. I and many others will be ready to rally behind her when she makes the decision to run!
